What actually happens, step by step.
If you're wondering what actually happens when you click "Find My Coverage Options" or submit your information through our chat, here's the step-by-step.
Step 1 — You answer a few quick questions
Our chat asks short, plain-English questions: your ZIP code, your age range, what kind of coverage you're considering. There are no trick questions. There's nothing about your medical history at this stage. You can stop at any time.
Step 2 — We see if there's a fit
Your answers are used to determine whether a licensed insurance agent in your area handles the coverage line you're asking about. If there's no fit, we'll tell you. If there is a fit, we'll explain who may contact you and what you're agreeing to before you submit anything.
Step 3 — You decide whether to be contacted
Before you submit your phone number, you see exactly which licensed agencies may call you (from our published Marketing Partners list), what they may discuss, and the line "Consent is not required to buy any product or service." If you'd rather not be contacted, don't submit. Your information goes to the licensed insurance agency partner that handles your inquiry. We don't sell your interest data to data brokers, and we don't use it to market unrelated products like solar, warranties, or debt relief.
Step 4 — A real, licensed agent calls you
The agent is a real person who is licensed to sell insurance in your state. You can ask for their National Producer Number (NPN) at any point during the call and look them up on NIPR. The agent explains options actually available in your area, answers your questions, and (depending on the coverage line) can help you enroll. There's no obligation. You can take a week to think about it. You can hang up at any point.
Step 5 — If you change your mind
If you want the calls to stop, tell the agent or submit our one-time universal opt-out at qlg.media/do-not-sell. That one form stops calls from every brand we run, not just CoverageBeacon. We honor opt-outs as soon as possible, no later than 15 business days from receipt. See our Privacy Policy for the full process.
What we won't do: We won't sell your number to data brokers. We won't pass it to extended-warranty calls or solar pitches. We won't use synthetic urgency, countdown timers, or "limited spots" pressure. We won't claim to be affiliated with Medicare, the Marketplace, or any government agency. See our Trust Center for the full set of commitments.
